Scholarship Program
The Pacific County Anglers are dedicated to the preservation of all fish stocks, wild or hatchery, and
the natural resources that sustain them. Pacific County Anglers are further committed to the promotion
of sport fishing, fish enhancement, conservation and outdoor activities.
Scholarship Offered
One $500 scholarship may be awarded to a qualified applicant, paid directly to their chosen college, to
be used for tuition, books, and fees.
Who can apply
The scholarship is available to Raymond, South Bend, or Willapa Valley high school seniors with a
demonstrated 3.0 grade point average or better and completion of the application requirements. The
scholarship will not be awarded to a student receiving a full scholarship from another source.
What is required
The following items must be received before May 10 2010. Applications not meeting all requirements
or received late may not be considered.
* Completed application form
*Copy of letter of acceptance to an accredited school (if available)
*Copy of grade transcripts from junior year through senior year
*Two letters of recommendation.
*A typed 150+ word essay written by the applicant on his or her future role in fishery management,
environmental education/conservation, or related fields of study.
